Imperial Drakonin: Amon's Summarization

The Imperial Drakonin

The beginning of the worlds current premier power is a rather dark one. At some point several centuries ago an ancient blue dragon Lucendi-Cinis grew tired of his small kingdom of kobolds, men and orcs. His hatred grew of the the Fey who made sport of slaying his lesser kin and their arrogant attitudes when dealing with him. And his envy of their power grew to a point he could stand none of it it anymore. He would begin to lay out and plan for the coming centuries. Spending vast amounts of his hoard to spread his influence and his information network. He would use this to find out were dragons hid and would recruit the youngest of their numbers with guile or force. With those who were to old he would push the hunters he hated to hunt them. He would then gather the eggs and the dragonlings left behind by these arrogant hunters as agreed. They would be ferried away to a his small kingdom who would strain itself near to the breaking to support so many young dragons and hatching them. They would be nurtured in a such way to teach of loyalty to building a imperial dynasty dedicated to dragons and their faithful servants. Unfortunately Lucendi-Cinis would never see his plans completed as the Fey Arch Mage council had finally discovered the ancient dragons actions and moved to stop him. The ancient dragon is slain but it is hard fought taking down two of the four arch mages sent to slay him they underestimated his own prowess with magic and his natural form. By the time they recouped and moved forward with their reinforcements of dragon hunters they stumbled in the valley ruled formerly by Lucendi-Cinis. They found it abandoned. The valley had been fled on the backs of the dragons who were raised there. The arch mages had arrived to late and upon tracking them they found that they fled to the East over the mountains. Not a challenge to the arch mages but a great deterrent to the hunters with them and considering the fear put in them by Lucendi-Cinis though did not want to leave without aide. They decided to regroup and go around knowing that it was unlikely the neighboring kingdom of Duren would genuinely provide aid to a hoard of dragons and whatever servants and arms men that had arrived. They were wrong though, Lucendi-Cinis powerful and prideful, reluctantly knew he had need of aid and had allied with his neighbors. They received the dragons well and ready themselves for war. They ambushed the arch mages and the hunters and slaughtered them all. From that point on they tied together the rest of mountain and dragon kingdoms with diplomacy or intimidation. By the time the Fey kingdom became fully aware the Imperial Drakonin had already formed.
