Aarde

Aarde is a world where magic and cutting-edge science mix freely, creating a world alien from our own. It is a world where the farmers harvest their grain as skyships fly overhead, where ancient nature and bustling locales exist in harmony, and where humanity lives in (relative) peace. Equality and liberty are universal ideals, racism and sexism are practically nonexistent, and where the gifts of magic and science are available to all. Ecleinia is a nation on Aarde where these ideas are ever present. A constitutional monarchy marked by unqiue national ideals, it is a land of peace and harmony.   However, peace is not eternal.   30 years ago, the Ecleinian government put down a rebellion by various discontented corporations. Now, it faces new threats. A rogue witch, armed with powerful magic, threatens the nation's stability. Warring political parties struggle for control of the Ecleinian Parliament. Civil war seems to be a growing possibility each day.   Ecleinia's only hope lays with a group of young people at Kelthshaw Academy, the most prestigious school in the nation. Armed with nothing but magic, technology, and their wits, they must save their country before it is ripped apart by corporations, political infighting, or any of the other numerous threats, navigating both the troubles of politics and being a young adult.
