Personal history
Benedetta Giovicci was born in Genoa, Italy - which is now part of the GeMiTo (Genoa-Milan-Turin) Sprawl - to a poor coastal family which made its living from the sea, primarily fishing. Her youth was marred by a tragic accident which left her requiring intense medical support which was provided by a Saedar-Krupp non-profit. In the years to come she proved herself a remarkable intellectual and creative force and was given a grant to attend Munich University where she majored in Art.
She left the University early and studied under Casper Van Ikes, producing her most profound early works, a series entitled 'The Stillness.' Her traditional works segued into digital arts that caught the art world on fire, giving her the freedom to create her own company, Signi, which she parlayed into a digital curation service and then AI narrative development studio.
Benedetta remained a fixture on the Grand Tour and the European Social Scene until her death in 2072 due to natural causes, her early death a tragedy but not unexpected due to her poor health from her childhood trauma. Her funeral was attended over a thousand luminaries of the cultural and artistic world.
