The destruction of the world tree and the end of The Flourishing.

For years war raged between Kingdoms until only a few powerful wizards remained. These wizards had accumulated great skill and magic power. The greatest of them all was a wizard known as Omega. It is said that Omega was the first man created by Moradin God of Creation and blessed by Corellon the God of magic and the arts. It is believed he used magic power to prolong his life allowing him to cultivate greater power.   Omega had but one challenger to his power. The God's themselves, the only beings with an equivalent amount of power. Omega went to the World tree and attempted to wrest control of it from the gods. The ensuing fight splintered the world into two halves. Thus formed the Northern land of Protania and Southern land of Neutronia. Mountains burst from the ground only to crumble to the weight of the magic power exerted on the land. Mt. Graviton rose from nothing to blacken the world with soot and flames. A great hole was blasted in the sea floor resulting in the Contra-Terren Void.   In the end the world tree was broken. Magic power drained from the world and the Gods and Omega faded into memory.
