Eightfold Junction

Geography

Nestled near the center of Hadron, Eightfold Junction is the meeting place of the Northern and Southern continents. Eightfold is surrounded by The Green Mountains to the Northeast and the Strange River to the south.

Ecosystem

A warm temperate climate surrounds Eightfold. The Green Mountains lead to increased rainfall in the region. The seas in this area are known to be calm most times of the year and support a robust fishing economy.

History

Once part of it's twin city Grecian, both cities were nearly destroyed during the Fissile Event. Now divided by the Strange River, Eightfold is one of Protania's largest trade routes for both land and sea.
The reconstruction of the region post Fissile Event has led to wildly different architecture and cultures for the twin cities.
