Verti-the-Foolish
Knight Verti O'really STevens (a.k.a. The Foolish)
Verti wasn't always called foolish. None of them started as foolish. Sometimes they would gain it early on, sometimes during their growing up, and oftentimes after death.
You see, Verti isn't really unique. Each version is, but not as a whole. You see, every universe has a Verti, just as they have a Ruler of Ice. They are always together, and it always ends they same. There are some constants. The name Verti, the nickname of foolish, and their death, always caused by an icicle to the brain, courtesy of the Ice Ruler exactly 26 years after Verti's existence began.
Yes, things change. Verti might be a man, a woman, neither, both, or anything else. They could be blond haired, brown haired, green haired. They can be any race, have any eye color, and be any species. They ould be brave, cowardly, or something in between. They can be warriors, adventurers, carpenters, layers, devils, IRS accountants, mechanics, middle school science teachers, the list goes on. They can be good, evil, or not give a damn.
The Ice Ruler is the exact same, except for one thing: They always have a reason to be able to make ice. Could be magic, science, or even just bad at knocking them off their roof. And they always wrong Verti, whether in be murdering their family, stealing their house, or refusing to return Verti's wrench.
Sometimes, the death changes. Maybe it is slow. Maybe quick. Maybe it was magic. Maybe science. Maybe an accident. The death is much less complicated, really.
There are always stories too. Sometimes, it is told is hushed tones of awe around campfires of adventurers, tales of a great hero who thought too much of himself, and tried to slay the great evil Ice Ruler, and paid the price. Sometimes, it is told with disdain in bars, it is of a sniveling rat, who tried to get the great hero Ice Ruler to pay for supposed damage to his property, and promptly slipped and impaled himself. Sometimes, its by children at lunch, talking about how their neighbor got impaled by an icicle that fell off "the Ice Ruler" neighbor's roof.
All we know is that Verti is always a fool, for he tries to win an endless cycle that is unaware of itself, and thinks he can win, when he really cannot. He is never the hero of his story.
At least, not till now.

I am usually hesistant to allow people to "force" a Verti into a world by their own rule, but your world is an actual Mutliverse and Verti did try to claim the domain of Multiverses (Multiversity?) so I am actually considering it to be canon of Verti being pulled back here more often than usual. That said, your article lays some detailed and interesting groundwork. I like how you address the reader as if you are explaining sitting around a campfire. Though I was sad, that the article ended that abruptly when it really started to tease me. Concerning the template – less is more. You do not have to fill out every field especially when you could only be very vague without the vagueness carrying a message itself.
