07. The Best Ambush

General Summary

While Klyn is in the lockup he meets someone names Jax who says he was being held there until the Zephyr Cell could verify his info
Djann asks Ascaris if he can locate a Nightstinger Blaster Rifle. Ascaris is able to find it but the price is a bit too high for Djann right now.
Zeeroh goes to talk with Klyn and Jax in the lockup but Ascaris insists that he watches
Zeeroh start interrogating Jax about why he decided to leave the Empire and join the Rebellion
Jax says he has wanted to leave for awhile but when he made contact with the Rebellion they said he could only come if he had worthwhile info. Because of that he bided his time looking for something of value
Zeeroh says that he things some good things will probably be coming his way because of his help
Satisfied Zeeroh turns his attention to the Imperial pilot, Klyn, asking why he decided to defect
Klyn says that he has had some doubts and reached a tipping point at the Bar in Nuba City where he decided enough was enough
After Klyn said his piece AC and Ascaris decide to let him join with the understanding that he is going to be watched very closely
After the interrogation Shref, Djaan, and Phaedrus head out to the markets.

When they come back Ascaris says that Fulcrum says we need to follow this through to the end
He tells us what he knows about his old crew

Raskol started some sort of t'bac company
Sazo went underground after he started taking up work as a slicer with some of our old contacts
Tarla took off years ago and hasn't resurfaced since

We decided that going after Sazo would be best because we have people to contact, but before we can do that we need to get a ship for ourselves
To get a ship we have Klyn message the Imperials saying he's escaped a kidnapping and requires a pickup while we wait to ambush them

A few minutes before the scheduled pickup 2 Tie fighters appear and circle around Klyn
A troop transport comes around a bend towards Klyn and eventually comes to a stop near Klyn
As it comes to a stop an officer steps out and tells Klyn to follow them immediately which Klyn does
Multiple witness confirm seeing Klyn assaulting Imperial troops
Before he can be taken away Djann fires on the officer landing his shot
The transport fires on Djann's locatoin but misses him, while the Office takes cover and orders the troopers to capture Klyn at all costs and he shoots Klyn with a stunner blast
Janico starts charging and shoots the trooper trying to grab Klyn
The transport moves to get between Klyn and Janico/Djann
Xel unloads his rifle killing multiple enemies and Zeeroh hits the last trooper killing him too.
The two Tie Fighters, seeing shots coming from the tall grass, bank and dive, unleashing a salvo of shots that strike Xel, knocking him unconscious
Shreaf throws an incendiary grenade into transport, the killing the officer leaving 2 tie fighters, the ITT driver and the ITT gunner
