A Fire Age

When Thor and Loki suddenly disappear on a mysterious trip deep into Jotunheim, Surtr seizes the opportunity to invade Midgard, but the fire giants he has tasked with establishing a stronghold keep being attacked by ice giants, summoned from Niflheim by the Council of Gothis at Trondheim.   Theme: Making allies always beats making enemies.   Believing Midgard to be the source of Thor’s power, Surtr is convinced that if he can seize control of it, the thunder god may be weakened enough for him to attack Asgard directly and finally kick off Ragnarok, kill the vain and cruel gods and goddesses, and bring about the renewal of the world.   When the ground shakes and noxious gases and lava boil from the cracks that appear, our heroes must find someone who can help them save their village.
