Dragonborn's are generally a respectful race and believe all living things, including enemies, deserve courtesy and respect. Their value for honor makes them ready to move through the world knowing their self-worth, and understanding that there are always ways to improve. Anatomy
The anatomy of a dragonborn are similar to a mixture of dragon and human. Their human anatomy is bipedal. Their head has blunt snout, strong brow, and reptilian frills on their cheek and ears. Their scales resemble a horn and rope textured-like hair. Eyes are generally red or gold. They also have talon-like claws and a fourth claw in the back while their hands are similar with three claws and a thumb replacing the rear claw.
Their scales are typically on concentrated around their joints such as radiating from the ankle to their feet or elbow down to their wrist, hips to their knees, and shoulders. These scales have not been known to be correlated to their dragon ancestor. The rest of their body has a fine leathery texture. Lack of body hair and their large mouths enable displacement of body heat.
Tails are rare and considered a deformity in Dragonborn society.
Genetics and Reproduction
Their dragon side is shown through a scaly hide, muscular body, and genetic resistance to the elemental energy of their breath weapon.

Growth Rate & Stages
Quick growth rate as they walk hours after hatching and mother nurses until their teeth form after several months. By 3 years old grow to a height similar to a 10-year-old human. Growth slows dramatically after 10, and this is when they may obtain their breath weapon. Not considered physically mature until 12 years old, and reach adulthood by 15 and can liver roughly to 80 years old similar to humans.
Ecology and Habitats
Feverish to the touch as they are generally hotter than most races making them more comfortable in cold climates and vulnerable in hot climates.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Omnivere, but containing more meat than typical omnivores.
Behaviour
Honor is the most important value, while cowardice is seen as repulsive. Trust is also important and they expect others to be just as open and forthcoming as them. Failure is not acceptable to many Dragonborn, and failure could push them to unhealthy extremes to become the master of the skill. They have most respect for those who follow the same manner. The majority have no issues asking what they need to do and taking times to improve themselves. Strong independence and self-worth.
They have strong emotions and seek others' approval due to their strong self-consciousness. These strong emotions are shown by not hiding anger or joy and being enthusiastic about life. They brood for a short time about their failures but quickly come back with a strong motivation for improvement.
There are few who show traits of timidness or reserved. Many dragonborns consider themselves responsible of those around them, and accountable for allies choices, including poor judgement.
Their passion could make them brutal or vengeful and given to hasty decisions that are moroally compromising, which could lead to greed and selfishness. Generally dragonborn are good.

History
Their history is generally known through myths and legends. Some legends say that the greatest dragon god used the astral sea and elemental to form Dragonborn as servants to dragons. Another legend states that the god was killed in battle with primordials and the Dragonborn were hatched from the spilled blood.
Nevertheless they have been slaves to dragons for millenia.
