Overview

Heat type magic is used by species to control and endure hot temperatures. They can use it to create resistance and even immunity to heat, or they can use their powers to raise temperatures in abilities that can burn, melt, ignite, or combust materials.
It falls within the pyrolumic school of magic (along with light magic) and is often used industrially by firefighters, metallurgists, blacksmiths, and also chefs.
