An encounter with the great eels

Documenting a rare exchange with the elusive and powerful great eels.

We were summoned offshore for a meeting with the great eels. They wish to learn the ways of wind magic to breathe above the waves and, in return, will teach us powerful tidal control.
I can't imagine why they'd want to emerge from the sea, surely they'd be vulnerable, no? Nevertheless, it seems like a fair exchange of knowledge to me. Who am I to deny the great ones a gift?
