Overview

This type of magic is part of the tempest school of magic alongside wind magic and relates to the control and creation of lightning, electrical charges, and static.
Some species use this magic as powerful offensive hunting abilities to strike down their prey or paralyse it, others use it as a purely defensive mechanism. It's incredibly difficult to control natural lightning from the skies, even with a group effort of highly skilled mages.
