Averus

Averus is the name of the Material Plane of existence — the humanoid world. It consists of six continents:

1. Irune in the far north, consisting of glaciers and frozen tundra. Little is known about this place due to its inhospitable environment.
   
   
2. Iodras, in the western hemisphere. It is divided into two clear regions that double as countries — the desert wastes of Sacar, and the variable Isarus which bears a continental climate.
   
   
3. Medraica, the smallest continent. It bears a tropical climate and consists mostly of jungles. The civilizations here are known to be small and numerous.
   
   
4. Zetend, an arid continent. It consists of multiple countries, made wealthy by their use of slave labor. Much of the continent is inhospitable to humanoids.
   
   
5. Drueshai, to the east. I will develop more about this area later.
   
   
6. Asuvia, thought to be home to the first humanoid civilizations. It consists of many, many countries, and is neighbored by a dense archipelago. Ruins of ancient civilization and old magic can be found throughout the continent, making it a rich vein for adventurers and treasure hunters.

It is noted that the world may be much larger than maps would reveal, as the southernmost oceans have not been fully explored.
