Fus'obea {Sport}

Gralian Fus'obea was once an ancient, esoteric ritual meant to honour the great shark-god Gral during the golden age of the Zandalari Empire. The significance of the rite is long disputed, with the meaning lost to the relentless march of time and the practice as a form of worship declining with the destruction of Atal'Gral.   The tradition of kicking a still-writhing fish to and fro took on a new life in Zandalari's great docks, becoming a popular game among street gangs, fishermen and casteless beggars dwelling in the poor districts. Soon, it was even incorporated as a training exercise for some cohorts  within the Rastari legions.   Over time, a bastardised form of this venerable, ancient rite was practised across many docklands and shipyards as a way for the dregs of society - coming to be known under a variety of names from Fisher's Footsies to Fishball to any number of garbled names across the slime-splattered fishmarkets of Azeroth.   In the modern day, there are said to be several teams for this unsightly sport, mostly following the Rastari's lead and using what was once known as Fus'obea as team-building exercise for various military outfits operating from Orgrimmar to Stormwind.
