Kepler 22-B
Kepler 22-B, also known as The Desert Planet, is one of the Union's main mining colony. Its size is roughly the same as Earth, but it is different in the sense that most of this planet is covered by land, specifically desert. Almost no water can be seen on the surface of the planet, but its underground water resource is sufficient. Mining companies have since established their facilities here to harvest the vast and different minerals and resources on the planet.
Geography
Seems like the reverse of Earth, most of the planet is covered with land, and only a few portion of the surface is water
Localized Phenomena
Sandstorms are very frequent on the planet, which is why most of the settlements and facilities are based underground, or covered by thick metal plating in order to resist the incoming sandstorms.
Natural Resources
Most of the natural resources on the planet is composed of different minerals and fuels buried deep within its crust
History
The planet has the occasional pirate attacks every so often, but most of them are taken care of by the Space Station in orbit around the planet. If ever some will be able to bypass the space station, the ground troops lead by General Williams will take care of them swiftly. After the Union has established a mining colony here, there have been no other problems on the planet aside from the pirate and marauder attacks. No Xenos activity had been detected anywhere on the planet.
Tourism
No cities or civilizations exist on the planet. The planet has an oxygen-based atmosphere the same as Earth, yes, but the harsh environment of the desert surrounding the planet, together with the minimal water surface, makes it hard to establish a settlement. The only establishments on this planet are either the mining facilities of different corporation sanctioned by the Union to mine the resources of the planet, and the different outposts and stations of the Union scattered around the planet.
