Earth and the Union

Being the home planet of all human life in the universe, Earth has stood through millenniums of hardship, warfare, global warming, pirate invasions, Xenos attacks, and many more. Ever since the Union has been established, however, Earth has since stood as a beacon of hope for all members of the colony system as they have been very effective with their programs and implementations. Due to the planet's resilience and integrity, the founding members of the Union have decided to establish their main base of operation on planet Earth, which they dubbed Union Central.

The thing about Union Central, however, is that it isn’t exactly placed anywhere on the planet. It was established on the moon, as the founders believed that this will give them more of an overview of the Earth. Plus, they weren’t able to decide a location on Earth due to certain, ahem, territorial factors. Choosing the moon as the main base has proven to be advantageous as they will be able to deal with any threat entering the Earth before they even reach the planet. As for any Earth-based threats, they have established multiple stations throughout the planet. Union Central has mostly covered the entirety of the moon and had developed the technology to maintain the moon’s orbit around the planet. Along with the moon base, there is also a space station acting as a docking bay or terminal for anyone or anything traveling in and out of the planet, which is also the main base of operation for the Military and Exploration sector (MES).

Along with Union Central on the moon, is the main branch of the Union’s school for training future soldiers, leaders, engineers, lancers, etc. It is considered a very prestigious and elite level of school as people can only enter the main branch either through recruitment or recommendation. If one has been recruited to study at this school, they either well connected has tremendous potential, or were deemed worthy by the academy. They decided to name this school, Union Point, where most leaders, elite soldiers, and lancers are produced and deployed into the other colonies to help stabilize any kind of situation.

The Earth, on the other hand, after facing a number of catastrophic events, is still standing, thanks to the united front of all human beings in order to save the planet. Whenever a problem arises that needed to be solved, the safety and lifespan of the planet are mainly now mainly considered, as humans have finally realized how important having a home planet is, even with the many colonies available. Gathering the resources of the planet is now very limited, as the Union doesn’t want a repeat of the resources of the planet almost being scarce a millennia ago.

Life on the planet has also changed very much as well, thanks to technology. Traffic isn’t an issue anymore as flying technology is available for local transportation thanks to the efforts of the Infrastructure and Technology sector (ITS). Even Artificial Intelligence exists as part of the population now, either being carried on devices by humans or taking over artificial bodies created specifically for them, in order to aid people in their lives. Mechanical installments are also present as you see people with mechanical arms, legs, bodies, and even heads, as technological advancements are also being utilized by the Health and Welfare sector (HWS), carefully analyzing which installments will be safe to use. Everyone also enjoys the government system implemented by the Politics and Governance sector (PGS), where they are living comfortably along with their duties and responsibilities thanks to the efforts of the Economic Development sector (EDS) as well. No one is just enjoying the comfort of life, as others work hard for him and get minimal rewards anymore, as the Judiciary and Law sector (JLS) is carefully monitoring every asset of every human being registered. Everyone is treated as equal, no one is either rich or poor anymore, and everyone has access to all of their needs.
