Religion
In many ways, this world reflects our own, and the importance of religion in the Brass Empire of London is paramount.
Before the reign of King Edward VII, London saw the greatest burst of religious culture since the Middle Ages. Non-Anglican Protestant denominations saw a resurgence, the Church of England increased its hold and Judaism increased dramatically.
Tensions due to religious beliefs were common. Sometimes caused large riots and destructive behaviours.
With the manipulation of Aether becoming more common and understood, several new religions or cults popped up around the 1900s worshipping 'real' gods, outer beings, average folk with great charismatic charm and even the Aether itself.
You and your GM should come up with a consensus on what major religion is in your area and if there are any ingrained tensions. Remember that most religions observe a sabbath and that it might not necessarily be a Sunday.
