Synthetic gold

In 3504, on the 29th of june, a Wolyapavutian scientist named Kox Tabal Tlakax achieved to render gold... worthless. The recipe is well-known and since his discovery, gold is way more often used for... well, for anything, from jewels and weapons to decoration and computers.

Utility

This technology makes gold just as useful as before, but without its rarity. Accessing such a beautiful material without having to spend too much wealth is a huge advantage, as making a shiny crown is definitely very fabulous... and gold costs as much as wood, which means Africans won't have to enslave white people to mine it. Which is another good thing.

Kox Tabal Tlakax is from the Kox tribe, belongs to the Tabal family, and was named Tlakax by his biological mother. He is Kox Tabal Têtli and Kox Dokodo Gajtal's son.
