Psionics and The Weave

-Different than solar magic, not powered by the suns -About the mental ability of the user -Beetles and Humans are powerful psionic users, all Beetles are psychic, and nearly 15% of all humans have the innate ability. It's very difficult to become psychic if your arent born one. You can get surgical implants to become psionic. -Elves and Orcs have no need for psionics because they are inherently magical, but can still be affected if the attacker is powerful enough -If Magic is all offense, it affords a small amount of personal defense (positive and negative charges) -Powerful psionics create a shield around them that can deflect elemental magic or physical damage -Minor telekinetic abilities (moving objects) and mind reading are the most common uses -Can connect to the Weave, basically the Astral Plane. A place of the entire planet's interconnected dreams -People appear in the Weave as avatars, Lookalikes of themselves, animals, or glowing forms of energy
