Custom Article Template Sidebar Not Showing

I have a set of custom templates based on the "person" that I have been using for over a year successfully. Recently I tried to use the same templates to make new articles and when I go to put my information in the sidebar, it shows (what I assume is) the default person sidebar fields and doesn't show what I have in my template.

I assume something new is overwriting my custom templates (which in Studio still have my sidebar information) and it's very unhelpful as I don't want those fields...that's why I made custom templates.

My already created articles are fine, but I can't make new ones.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Create a new custom template in Studio using the "Character" template (used to be Person)
  • Write anything you like in the "Sidebar: Content Panel" sections
  • Make a new article in your world using that template.
  • Watch the Sidebar: Content Panel be full of options that you didn't put in your template.

*I am having trouble with both existing custom templates AND I can't make new ones work.

I believe I am having a related issue. I have created a custom person template and entered something in "Sidebar: Top" which I can see in my template but it does not show up when I create articles using this template.
