I believe this was because I was mistaking that it would automatically set it to a character when it is join more as a 'apparently' non-existent template player? I have been treating it in this new light, which leads to a different approach in managing documentation.

Is this correct?

Hey Rynjathyn, there is indeed a difference between a Character article template and a playable Character joining a Campaign - I'm not sure how you encountered this error exactly, but what you can do instead is select the Switch button on the right sidbar and a modal will open. Choose the Characters tab and you can create your character there and then try to rejoin the campaign with the one you've already created (though I'm not sure if you are joining from a invite link or other method, this will work either way).

There are many ways to go about it, so if you're still having trouble with this, let me know with the steps you followed.

I believe its okay, I have found a way around the problem by simply treating it as mentioned above. You can feel free to close the ticket.

I think the error was somehow caused by trying to attach the new character to a character template. How I did that I'm not sure, perhaps because I had already created a character of a similar name and was trying to reconnect it somehow?

Thanks for taking a look at it !
