Hey M78 MazAttack, I took a look at your world Forgotten Realms and you have over 20 categories in that word (most are indeed from the pre-generated ones that World Anvil used to provide), a lot of them under the World Encyclopedia category. Deleting the ones you're not using to under the free limit will allow you to make new ones - if not, please let me know to investigate further! Just a note that the free limits are counted between your worlds, so you will need to have a total of 15 categories max between your Forgotten Realms and Vandalor worlds.

I understand, World Anvil is a complex system and has a learning curve for sure - we have guides for most features you can advise when in doubt (can be found in the Learn link in the top middle menu and any ? button you see next to various features) and the categories structure that were auto-generated is an old system we no longer use to not fill a user's world unnecessarily but older worlds still have them.
