Dear World Anvil team, I wanted to let you know that this problem has become worse for me in the meantime. I do not know if there have been any changes in the background, but autosave now frequently reactivates in articles that I am currently actively working on. I reload the page and the feature turns off, but after one or two minutes of writing, it turns on again. I have double checked the "features" menu and according to the settings it should be turned off the whole time. This is becoming more and more of a hindrance for me since the save cascades make working on an article practically impossible. Once it starts autosaving, letters only appear with a delay of 1-2 seconds on screen and navigating with the arrow keys becomes painfully slow. I would really appreciate some feedback. Is this a known issue? Could it be related to my hardware, software or browser settings? Kind regards

Thanks for the details, this isn't a common issue, from what I've seen you are the only user experiencing this. But I will be investigating this and hopefully will have some news or suggestions soon!

Hi! Just wanted to jump in with an observation from my own workflow, where I have experienced this bug.   I have autosave disabled, and use the Advanced Editor. I have found that autosave re-enables after any kind of WorldAnvil mentioning occurs - so whenever 3 letters follow an '@' or '['. Autosave then stays active while that article is being worked on, and swapping to a different article and back turns autosave back off. I think maybe it's something to do with the internal search functionality? Not sure!   I hope this is at all helpful, to you or to Gideon :)

Hi! Just wanted to say that it is happening to me right now. I turned off the auto-save because it makes it really hard to work (lagss and all), and it seems to turn on again after one or two minutes, then I refresh and it stops, but then again... It is driving me a little nuts. But just wanted to say I do experience it too. Also using euclid by the way. Best regards to all !
