When the Notebook feature was first introduced here on World Anvil lo these many years ago,
C. B. Ash and I had the additional option to connect our Notebooks together. What a great way to share notes on collaborative GMing where the PCs can't access it! And we can use it even in the middle of an active session where one of us is currently a player!
Only slightly fewer years ago than that, the Notebook feature was upgraded ... and that upgrade removed the ability to share users' Notebooks with one another.
Also that upgrade removed the ability to disconnect them.
At the time, we were told that it might take a short while for the system to finish disconnecting itself. So we waited a couple of years. And then waited some more.
And then asked for help. I won't join Reddit but I did join that "trello" thing you were using for a while.
I was told that this "should not be happening" and then the bug was closed. Without fixing it.
A few years later, I was told that a backend change to World Anvil's Notebook and similar features was coming which would fix it; I should wait patiently. I can do that. I did that.
Recently I saw that thing about the major code exploit a Liquid Glass researcher found in some of the coding languages I have read in your updates.
This malfunction is not a showstopper by any means, but it DOES imply an exploitable security hole in World Anvil's wonderful connectivity. And I worry.
