Links in paragraphs remove all text beyond them when copy/pasting

I am using Google Docs to backup the stuff I write in World Anvil, and when copying from World Anvil to Google Docs, all the text in the paragraph after the link is not being shown. Please see below

Steps to Reproduce

Simply put a link into the text and try to copy/paste anywhere really

Operating System

Windows

Browser

Google Chrome

Related Entity

I guess every piece of text where links are being used.

Unfortunately, any substential solution would require a large amount of effort/time because the visual representation of what the editor displays and the underlaying formatting/data.
There'll be however an intermediate solution for this so we fix the issue where nothing shows up after a mention/link/any inline content that isn't a paragraph :)
