Textboxes and Drop-Down Boxes in new interface act like a password input. When selecting a textbox or drop-down box the following popup appears - "Enable Password AutoFill Click here to allow iCloud Passwords to AutoFill your passwords."

I first noticed it when creating a subfolder in the new Articles & World section. While entering this bug report, it also occurred in the Title textbox, and the Related Feature, Operating System, and Browser drop-down boxes.

Prior to the UI update, I have also seen similar behavior on my iPad when using a keyboard case. Certain textboxes would bring up the bar at the bottom of the screen that allows access to passwords, even though the textbox had nothing to do with passwords. This takes up a lot of valuable screen space.

Steps to Reproduce

In the new Articles & World section, create a subfolder. When selecting the text box to name the folder the "Enable Password AutoFill" will pop up.

Filling out a Bug Report will also show the problem.

Parameter settings for Textboxes and Drop-down boxes in the new UI.

If you had clicked on the popup prior and authorized it to access passwords, it will not pop up again. This only hides the issue. On Windows, this may be an acceptable workaround, but it is an issue on the iPad.

Hey, this is dependent on your browser and your password manager extensions and not the fields we use.
