Invited player not showing in party, but shows on GM Screen, unable to kick and recreate.

I had created a character for one of my D&D campaign's players. I sent him an invite and he accepted, but couldn't simply use the character I transferred to him, so he had to create one. After he created his own, he clicked to use the character I transferred him.

The party in the campaign now shows 3 players, but his character is not listed there and the "manage" screen only shows 2 characters, despite saying "3 players in party". To try and troubleshoot this, I ejected the player from the campaign/world in settings, but his character still shows up on many screens, despite being removed from the game.

I'm trying to incorporate all my players, but I can't seem to get past this problem.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Create character on my own account
  • Send join invite to player
  • Player creates a generic character
  • Transfer the character I created to him
  • He joins using the link I sent/the character I transferred
  • The character is shown to be in the party "3 characters" but when I click "Manage Party" it only shows 2.
  • Eject from world. Player Character is still shown in the world.

I wound up removing the player from the game entirely, deleting everything pertaining to the character I could find and re-inviting the player, having him recreate the character from scratch. That seemed to work on that front, but my "party" still shows an additional player who isn't actually there. "6 players in party" on the party screen, but only 5 on every other screen.
