This error occurred in the notebook section of World Anvil. I pasted content in and then the error message in the title appeared. Here is the error message: RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded at v5.lexText (https://wa-js-cdn.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/assets/prodromos/prod/assets/vendor-wysiswyg-Ch2IBPOu:198:9425) at v5.lexClosingTag (https://wa-js-cdn.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/assets/prodromos/prod/assets/vendor-wysiswyg-Ch2IBPOu:199:501) at v5.lexOpenBracket (https://wa-js-cdn.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/assets/prodromos/prod/assets/vendor-wysiswyg-Ch2IBPOu:199:14) at v5.lexText (https://wa-js-cdn.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/assets/prodromos/prod/assets/vendor-wysiswyg-Ch2IBPOu:198:9557) at v5.lexTagArgs (https://wa-js-cdn.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/assets/prodromos/prod/assets/vendor-wysiswyg-Ch2IBPOu:201:1303) at v5.lexTagName (https://wa-js-cdn.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/assets/prodromos/prod/assets/vendor-wysiswyg-Ch2IBPOu:200:308) at v5.lexOpenBracket (https://wa-js-cdn.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/assets/prodromos/prod/assets/vendor-wysiswyg-Ch2IBPOu:199:100) at v5.lexText (https://wa-js-cdn.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/assets/prodromos/prod/assets/vendor-wysiswyg-Ch2IBPOu:198:9557) at v5.lexTagValue (https://wa-js-cdn.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/assets/prodromos/prod/assets/vendor-wysiswyg-Ch2IBPOu:201:855) at v5.lexTagName (https://wa-js-cdn.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/assets/prodromos/prod/assets/vendor-wysiswyg-Ch2IBPOu:200:395) You can provide a way better UX than this when your app throws errors by providing your own ErrorBoundary or errorElement prop on your route.
pasted dated into my notebook
I also tried to open Notebook on another device and the same error happened.
I also cleared my browser cache.
Hello? Can anyone help with this?
Hey there! I checked to see what was causing the issue for you and found this: You have copy pasted a very long list in one note (210.000 characters, which is roughly 40 pages). Because our lists are specially parsed, we cannot currently support this, hence why the crash is happening. If you do not care about data loss, I could delete this note and your notebook will be working again. Otherwise, I can split this mega-note into smaller notes so that everything works again for you. Whichever you prefer is fine! Just keep in mind that large notes like this are better split into multiple notes/ note-sections!
Thanks for the follow-up. I will never do that again! I am not sure what the data is otherwise I would delete it. Can you parse it out for me please? Bill
I deleted the old plutarch note and have created a new note called 4: Catacombs --Euclid---, that has all the content on the note there. If you click on the view icon, you shouldbe able to see everything parsed. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with, your notebook should be working as normal now!
