Embedding categories as books is a great way to visually invite your readers to learn more about specific areas of your world. The mock-up on the right shows how it will look with the default theme; here's how to do it!
If you're a Guild member using the Advanced Editor (with BBCode), simply type an open bracket [ and start typing the name of the category. Choose the category link for the one you want to embed, and in the BBCode tag that will be generated, change category for book. For example, [category:id-here] will become [book:id-here].
If you're using the Visual Editor, type a slash / followed by "category" and select the "Category Embed" option. This will let you search for and embed a category in book format.
Otherwise, follow these steps:
- Go to the Articles interface in the sidebar.
- Find the category you want to link to in the category tree on the left.
- Mouse over the category and click on the ellipsis button.
- Click on the Copy Category Book Widget button and paste anywhere with the Advanced Editor to create the link.
