You can use hidden comments (also known as "commenting out") to remove article content from public view. No one, including yourself, will be able to see commented out comment, as it's only visible from the article editor.
How to comment out text
Use the syntax shown in this example using the Advanced Editor:
This is visible text /* This is commented out! */ This is also visible!
This is visible text This is also visible!
As you can see, anything between /* and */ is completely hidden from view.
