You can embed media players (audio and video) from a variety of sources to make your articles more interactive and engaging. Here's how!
How embedding works
Here's how the process works in general:
- Go to the song or video page of a supported platform.
- Copy either the link or the embed code.
- Use it to embed it on World Anvil as follows.
With the Visual Editor
If you use the Visual Editor:
- Open the slash menu and look for Spotify or YouTube (i.e. type "/spotify" or "/youtube").
- Paste the embed URL in the text field.
With the Visual Editor, Spotify and YouTube are the only supported external media players.
With the Advanced BBCode editor
The following is a list of all supported media embed BBCode tags with examples:
