Embedding lets you insert another piece of content into an article (or other BBCode-enabled fields). For example, you can embed a secret, an article block, or a map. Here's how to embed anything using the Advanced Editor:
- Open the Search from the left sidebar (or press Ctrl+K on your keyboard).
- Find the content you want to embed in the search panel.
- When you mouse over, a series of icons will appear. Click the Copy Block button.
- Close the search panel and paste in the article you want to embed that content in.
Some entities, like articles and timelines, also have a Copy Mention button, which will insert a simple text link. For more information and help with the Advanced Editor, check the Guide to the Advanced Editor.
