Password protection can be a great way to share your worldbuilding with specific people without adding them as subscribers, and you can even use it for gamification! If you're a Sage of the Guild, here's how you can set it up:
- Edit the article and make sure it's set to Published. It doesn't matter if it's Public or Private, as the password protection will override it.
- Go to the Security tab and set the password in the "Passcord/Direct link access" field.
- Send the article link to your readers. When they access it, they will need to enter the password to view the article.
If you want to add an additional call to action (for example, a link to your Patreon page), you can do so in the "Passcode call to action" field.
