Orichalcum Plate Rubbing (1746)
The central plate in a magic mirror, this rubbing was taken from a large retail shop mirror that was commissioned from the Oxford Collegia in 1744 and delivered in 1746. Sadly, this plate is all that survives of this mirror, and has been badly damaged, obscuring the miniature sigils around the central circuit.
