Session 7

General Summary

The party is lead towards Arkyn Vhal's ship. On the way aboard, they notice that Lyric has followed them and sneaks aboard the ship with them. Aboard the ship, they see robed figures genuflecting and praying, chanting in elvish a prayer to the homeland: Elyssan Reach. They are led to the cells to be held.   Arkyn Vhal speaks with the party to learn more about what they know, but at their reticence, leaves them to rot in the cells during the many day journey to Elyssan Reach.   Lyric finds her way to the party and lets them know she's very sneaky and will stay aboard unseen. Stella speaks to the rats who tell her a bit about the journey they are going to take. There are very few rats aboard.   After a long rest, the party hears a scuffle from above, a high pitched scream and a low melodic tone. A wave of energy knocks everyone back, and a huge hole is made in the hull of the ship. Using Ed, the party escapes the cells and discovers that Arkan Vhal has captured Lyric and are fighting over the orb.   The party gets into a battle with Arkan Vhal while trying to calm down Lyric. Arkan Vhal is defeated, the party destroys one of two lifeboats aboard the vessel and take the remaining dinghy to escape the ship with a more calmed down Lyric.
