After this particular Lieutenant Vilroy, clearly a changeling in disguise, decides to bail out of the skycoach, Ebb tries to take control. Unfortunately, they aren't able to drive the coach.
Vinny jumps after the imposter, clutching at a Feather Token and trying to control his descent and keep an eye on the changeling in case they change into something else.
Ix takes control of the coach, and drives down to the bridge below.
Despite the changeling's attempt to change into a (very tall) dwarf, Vinny keeps them in his sight and manages to catch up and tackle them.
Ix lands the coach, and scares the changeling—who reveals his name to be Jas—enough that he tells them some of the plan. The real Vilroy was last seen "all beat to hell" and he was supposed to take them to a skycoach landing in Terminus and to Garra.
Vinny calls over a brave looking human and asks them to watch over the bound changeling until the Sharn Watch arrived, then tell the Watch what happened. "Let them know that the Wednesday Knight Irregulars are going in to rescue Lieutenant Vilroy!"
Back into the coach, and off to Terminus... and an ambush!
It's the kobolds from before, but they're flying around on soarsleds.
And once again, with a few gestures and some incantations, Ebb sends five of them off to Dal Quor for nighty-night time. Sadly, one kobold fell asleep a little too hard, slipping off their soarsled and tumbling hundreds of feet down to the cobblestones below. Ow.
The last kobold alive, the same acolyte from the previous encounter, fired off a spell at Ebb, but Vinny aimed the skycoach at them, and ran right into the creature.
Then, with no hesitation, Ebb brought his warhammer down on the kobold's head, splattering it all over the coach.
