Session 11: Adventures in Ashanor Report

General Summary

The party set off on a sailing journey to Caldera as part of the crew of the Audacity. The ships captain quickly sets them to work on crewing the ship and puts Kutotar in charge of her group. The party first encounters a deep dragon that attacks the ship. Quick use of Ballistas meant they were able to send the creature running back into the sea.

That evening they would run across a pseudodragon named Herensuege. Garlord convinces the Pseudodragon to join them on their journey in exchange for regular meals of seagull and a comfy pile of gold to sleep upon.

The next day they would come across floating cargo early and later a rowboat with three survivors in it. They would let the ship and crew know that Red Dragon Orcs had sieged and ultimately destroyed their ship.

The next morning they would approach the shoals and use the early hours to search the shipwreck of the Farraday. They would spend the rest of the day beginning the difficult navigation of the outer shoals. This means their speed was severely reduced to navigate through things.

Early the next morning alarm bells sounded and everyone went to arms as the Red Dragon Clans warship emerged from around one of the rock shoals. Combat ensued and the session ended before they could finish. Next time we will pick up in the middle of that combat. (Garland has a photo of the board state.)
