General Summary

When the flight of light had diminished our heroes were left with a new item in place of Thallen's Letter Opener. Uluru's Harness. The light, however, drew in some attention.   Large chitinis reptiles roared into the room from several angles. The party worked to dispatch them, realizing that some nest lay bellow in the darkness.   As they explored more they find the answer to the riddle, "Down to go up" is the truth about a looping column that magically teleports everything that falls to the bottom back to the top. Including piss.   Grim used his spear to catch the ledge of the entrance to an above level and the party pulled themselves up. Cramus found a broach and some coins.   Once they arrived on the top layer they began to explore and found a room filled with lights criss-crossing across the room. The smallest among them were able to slip through, but the larger had to create a phalanx to move through. Damage and frost covering them as they moved.   As Thallan watched the party move through the layers, he heard a warning from Uluru to be careful.   The warning was all but ignored and the marched into the next room and there they found Khalitharius, Badr Al-Mosak, and several creatures. After a quick parlay they fought. Khalitharius used a fireball spell and then began his retreat after the amulet worn by Cramus lashed out against him.   The party, however, quickly was outmatched. Merosh and Cramus went down. The flames lit over Merosh his life draining away as he lay on the floor.   The end looks like it is coming, but Thallan pulls a black swan feather out of his pocket and prays, "Uluru, help my friends."   The pray is answered and wounds heal. Even the dead Merosh gasps awake among the flames. Cough... Cough "I can't die... I still need to save a princess..."   Grim reaches a hand down towards Merosh and says ”You sure do friend.”
