Many Meetings Report

General Summary

Hugo arrived on the northern coast of the Commonwealth. He was sent by Hareth for an unknown reason. He made his way to a small town called Bani. At a temple of Huvoi he spoke with another kalashtar priest who told him to continue following Hareth's will. Hugo is told he's not just a vessel.   In a tavern, Hugo met a water genasi sorcerer named Aquilegia Columbina who was performing for his dinner. Aqui bought him some drinks (which Hugo didn't want) and they decided to hang out. Aqui got into some trouble over the days they hung out, but Hugo always helped him out (usually with a monk pop pop). Hugo masqueraded as human to Aqui.   Aqui had the idea to check out a sea cave temple he'd heard about on the coast. They both went and finally found the entrance. Inside they met a bunch of people, including a rock gnome paladin named Micah. They spend a pleasant night with these people. Discussion turned to pirates and Hugo and Aqui decided to help Micah eradicate some pirates.   The group traveled further up the coast through the larger town of Equensey. The locals did not treat them well and they camped on the coast.   The next town up the coast was the very dodgy Merano. The party went to the local tavern and had a meal of fish stew, except for Hugo who was happy with his potato. They found no leads on pirates so they decided to investigate the town. A young boy tried to pick Micah's pocket, but the gnome used a spell to incapacitate him. Aqui let him off with a warning and gave him some coppers to buy a meal.   After a stunning performance at the tavern by Aqui, the party went out late at night attempting to lure some pirates into kidnapping Acqui who was disguised as a noble woman he saw at Equensey. The locals seemed afraid of him. Hugo and Micah sneaked after him to keep watch, and Hugo revealed to Aqui that he can communicate telepathically.   Going down a dark alley, Aqui met some toughs but no pirates. As he was leaving, one pickpocketed his hand axe and ran away. Hugo and Micah ran after the thief but Aqui got lost in the back streets. Hugo used Step of the Wind to catch up and tackle the thief.   Meanwhile other ruffians attacked an isolated Aqui. He used thunderclap, but his wild magic caused him to levitate 20 feet up in the air. He also used his spells to disguise himself as an undead creature to scare them away. They ran, and he got some attacks off on them.   Hearing the thunder, Hugo and Micah ran back and found Aqui, who dispelled the new disguise. Hugo returned his axe. The party went back to the inn, not having found any pirates.
