Session 12: First Blood Report

General Summary

Recap:

1. Away from Northal Castle, a ship of Decartian party-goers is assaulted near Begolian borders in the dead of night. Over in Secrix, Jhin is conferring with the local nobility, as a celebration of life is held for Secrix's late king.
2. Back home, Eleonora wakes up from her comatose state, with Noppa and Wren making sure she's okay.
3. During the night, Nora wants to talk to Noppa, and asks him if he remembers what it was like in the Underdark. While Noppa struggles to recall any such memory, he has a brief vision of his lost past, where he remembers assaulting a group of Drow.
4. In the following morning, Eleonora finally decides on a name for her shop, calling her store "The Elegant Spark."
5. Most of the party head back to town, with Wren sneaking a present to her professor, and Celrin recovering her gun from the institute.
6. Towards the end of the week, most of the party goes together to the market for groceries, and Celrin has an encounter. A strange stall owner asks Celrin if she recognizes him, and when she says no, he tells her his name, and alludes to her past before disappearing.
7. When the party returned home, Eleonora's mother was waiting for them, and wanted to talk to her in private. Mrs. Addleman remarks that Eleonora's sister had come to visit her, and appeared disturbed by the experience. She told Eleonora that she was proud of her, and wants her to never become like her sister.
8. Late in the day, well after Eleonora's mother had left, the party retired for the night.
9. While Noppa was cleaning the table, Sköll appeared to be perturbed by something he heard, and began barking for Noppa to investigate.
10. Noppa looked outside, and saw swift moving shapes in the moonlit sky, before he was impaled by a tossed javelin.
11. Now wounded, Noppa rushed inside to wake the others, and when he arrived in Wren's room, he saw an Aarakocran perched against her window, peering inside.
