Session 34: They're All Dead Report

General Summary

Recap: It's a somber return back to Northal Castle. Rainer's stayed back to situate his people within the now abandoned city, and Eleonora's discovered that this "Wren" isn't who she said she is. After some travel, the dissonant pair light Wren's body on a pyre, casting her gold into a beautiful avian statuette. Afterwards, they go to tell Jhin of the new set of slaughtered allies, but are taken aback by interesting new faces; a Gob artificer, and a Satyr diplomat. While Eleonora wishes to express her grievances to Jhin, especially in the face of his apathy, the present company he drops on her makes it frustratingly impossible; though she does invite him to a later chat. Regardless, it seems as though the goblin known as Thornelius is to facilitate improvements to Northal's hydroarcanic power, while the Satyr, who introduced himself as Frichtimen is a ambassador from Trinum; seeking Northal's assistance in the Heart War.   These people are brought back to the Halcoast Manor, where Eleonora does her best to play nice, but eventually retires to sleep. Everyone else does as well, however Rhea, in need of a midnight snack, discovers another stranger in her home; a shadow-like young girl scrounging for food in their kitchen. Rhea does her best to put the girl at ease, calling for Eleonora to see this shy intruder. Eleonora's too tired to comprehend, and just allows her presence given the insanity of the last few days. Thusly, Sha the Nocturne begins to live in the Halcoast Manor; although quite creepily. In the following morning, talks of how to proceed as a group begin, though without conclusion.
