Session 65: Down in the Valley
General Summary
24th - 26th Tormale Deciding that the origin of the infection must be at or related to the center of the valley, where the unnatural overgrowth was thickest, the party descended the slope and started their trek into the infected forest. They cut their way through ever-denser brush and thorns, dealing with stampedes and impossibly grown beasts. Each step seemed to be harder than the last, with every path sprouting dead ends and twisting routes. When they had entered, they had thought it would take a day or two to reach the center, but two days had passed and they had only reached the lake's edge, only half the distance.
