Session 10: The Tainted Well Report

General Summary

The party awoke at dawn to set out on their journey to find what was tainting the village well, as you travelled you soon came into a misty section of the forest, you luckily avoided stepping into a network of nearly invisible webs, when you studied them by sight and touch you disturbed the webs creators, giant spiders. You fought the first wave off but an eldritch blast shook the rest from the treetops, perhaps through sheer fright or courage Tinka hurled a vile of liquid fire at them, setting the forest ablaze, you all ran as fast as you could away from the fire and soon arrived at the Wells water source. A familiar creature was in the area of the forest you were (the cat you tried saving a the day before). It recognised Tinka and joined the party once again. Tinka told you the cat was from the Red Sword Inn in Taka and that it was odd she was all the way out here in the forest alone.   As you studied the water source it was clear something poisonous was residing there and it had also been feasting on lycanthrope, you disturbed the creature and through hard battle managed to defeat it. On its death you found a scroll merged between its layers of flesh, the scroll was a Kekkan Scripture but why was it there? Tinka is now proceeding to fix the pump that linked the water source to the village well.
