Sister2Sister Adventure #4 - 6/13/20

General Summary

Nijah was not...unwelcoming. While Katyr bought a healing salve recipe from her, Hotaru tried to do some reconnaissance while going to and from the outhouse, but there were too many watchful frogs. It took a while to convince Nijah to let the three girls into her cottage, but she did (after Vashe asked about her frog obsession...and if she had a frog hookah) and offered some tea. The tea affected Vashe most peculiarly, and she was distracted by all the glowing things for a while after. While Vashe was oblivious, Hotaru and Katyr found themselves sinking into the couch where they were sitting, and the floor when they were able to stand. Katyr attempted a “bathroom break” and discovered the quicksand effect was restricted to the house, not outside. Outside there were still many, many, many toads...   Nijah interrogated them until Vashe admitted that someone else knew that Nijah had ordered a custom frog hookah, and agreed to do a job for Nijah in exchange for it. However, as a test, Vashe must prove herself by bringing back a various kinds of colorful tree frogs from the Primordial Swamp.   The three girls left Nijah’s hut (relatively) unscathed, and headed to Fort Dragonsbreath. There they picked up some items to help catch the frogs, including a mercenary (named Sugissa) and a free ride with the Farriders headed to the borders of Ur. They stayed at the Dragon Roost Inn, and (only) Katyr was successful in performing for room and board; Vashe was booed off stage, while Hotaru’s dancing was...interesting...   The next morning, the Farriders headed out and dropped the 4 off at the edge of the Primordial Swamp for their frog-catching adventure!
