VtM: Shards of Midnight Session 4 Report

General Summary

Last we left off we were finally introduced to Mahzun, who spent his free time reading in the Archives until Vilkas ultimately pressured him into joining the Varsity Investigation Team. After that, everyone met up at the crime scene. After briefly investigating a mirror that went to Glac and meeting the child kindred Odella, everyone dove into investigating the mystery. Harper confirmed that the victim was most likely garrotted and Mildred was able to uncover that it was most likely the stray string of a lute. Cain also informed that party that the blood on stage didn’t smell like it belonged to a biological female. Using a puzzle from a previous session, the group found a dark grimoire labeled ‘The King in Yellow’ where only the first act remained and the rest of it was torn out, the pages’ location unknown.
