VtM: Shards of Midnight Session 6 Report

General Summary

After getting to know each other a little more, the Varsity Investigation Team decided to tackle a more pressing matter: the date Scorch had scored with the elusive Chelidon. On the way over to the cemetery that Chelidon asked to meet Scorch in, the group decided to hunt down Cain. While Scorch talked to an unusually distressed little vampire, Rhys prayed to the bodies of the dead rats that were devoured by Cain. Instead of hearing the voice of her god, the Son of Death, she instead came across a ship in the night: an old and dead god. After a bit of proding and threatening to give him a silly name, he revealed his identity to be that of Agma, the long dead head god of Astria and famous lover to Chaoxing. Despite Scorch's desires to go alone, the rest of the party insisted and positioned themselves to watch over the date as Scorch met up with the pretty and quick-tongued assassin. While Scorch attempted to learn more about Chelidon, asking him blatantly if he was an archnihil along with the reveal of the rest of the group caused Chel to get rather angry and leave the scene. Before leaving, he showed Scorch an opaque bag he was going to give him. In the interim of this incident, Scorch once again saw the mysterious being he allowed out of the coffin in his dream, surrounded by skeletal forest animals. This vision almost caused Scorch to fall off the cliff into the rocks and dark water below. upon asking Agma, Agma admitted he felt like he once knew the entity but it had evolved so much that he no longer recognized his presence. Now the Varsity Investigation Team finds itself in the cemetery, eerily aware that they are being haunted by some malevolent god.
