Session 13 - Report

General Summary

Zita is standing in the midst of a sandy plain. The last time she saw this landscape was a dream the night she met Zeno. But now there are dragon eggs the size of boulders littering the ground around her. Shadowy figures in black robes suround the eggs, they are chanting silently. Suddenly from the eggs emerge small baby dragons, wriggling-twisting-rolling in the sand. Something feels off though, and as they twist in the sand the form into something dark, shadowy, malevelont. Rushing in, the robed figures block her path. They reach out with dark energy. There is a flash and everything goes dark. In the next instant the eggs lie unopened in the sand. As the dream comes to an end Zita is standing alone on the plain, surounded by the eggs. On the horizion, long black tendrils stretch across the landscape.   Nedda finds herself standing in the middle of a desolate wasteland, the sky a sickley green. The scent of death and decay rides on a stiff wind. In the distance, a massive temple covered in intricate carvings of dragons and unknown monstrosities stretches above the horizion. Painful drawn out steps pull her forward. Drawn deeper into the temple she finds herself in a chamber, walls lined with tomes and grimoires. In the center of the room a black stone altar sits, unrecognizable runes encircle the edges of the altar. Fire lights on candles around the room. Standing in the doorway, a tall dark figure. He starts to laugh and everything fades to black.   (24:00]       The party wakes from their restless night. They continue to explore the caverns for several hours. They eventually come out into a cavern, hewen into the stone. A structure stands in the middle of the cavern, tall straight walls reaching the ceiling. Dim light pours out of an open doorway.   The party enters and comes across a figure, standing in the middle of the room. (details to be filled in later) This new individual joins with the party, and explores the ruins. Several traps, a summoning circle, and a ghost attack later they rush down a trap door. They find themselves in a pitch black cavern, the only light fading away as they pull the trap door closed behind them.
