Session 1: One fire goes out, another ignites Report
General Summary
Numeria, the land of technology and savagery, reigned by the Black Sovereign, Kevoth-Kul, leader of the barbaric tribes. Drug addled king on the throne as most would see him, he still holds enough force of personality to keep his reign this is no small part due to the Technic League.
200 hundred years ago the Technic League was founded to learn and understand the technology that is scattered across the country. Over the years this has changed and now the League attempts to keep the knowledge only accessible to those that are worthy of the such studies.
The people of the land have become either suspicious of the technology around them or have integrated into their lives whiles keeping it mostly out of the sight of the League. The people who use this technology, know how thin the League is stretched across the country with the Crusades to the North and the Pathfinder Society attempting to enter their borders to the south.
One such common way to enter Numeria is by sailing up the Sellen River. A little away from its sprint is a small town is the small town of Torch .
Known for its purple flame atop the Black hill, Torch is one of the few places that has the means to melt and re-forge Skymetal. The flame burns hot and in a unique way where parts are colder or just warm. The locals have designed different techniques to use this flame.
The locals of Torch are careful of outsiders and keep a tight enough community where things that may seem out of place are brushed off with a “its just like that attitude”
It is current the 16th of Pharast in the year 4714, and the small community has been hit with some trouble and more so than the gremlins that lurk around the hinterlands or the drunk rumour of some robot wandering the lands but the Light of Torch has recently extinguished about 7 days ago. 4 days ago an expedition with a Town Councillor and local technomancer, Khonnir Baine. With this expedition not returned yet, it has been the talk of the town in the tavern known as the Foundry that a 2nd expedition may be set up soon.
