S11 1142 GDC Elora, 27th Day of Faelyn Report

General Summary

The new party of heroes met at the Brown Bull Tavern after each receiving a letter from Breckman Zanz to meet with them at their earliest convenience. The rest of the party got the chance to indulge in finer pastries and brew while being serviced by Melpuns, a cantankerous old goblin in service of the tavern. At the arrival to the temple most noticed that something quite literally did not smell right. Breckman alluded to a new contract over the discovery of a remote ancient temple recently unearthed somewhere in the Gamilta Bog and wanted to alert this new group first before moving on to other professionals. Breckman alerted the heroes that refugees had recently stumbled into the city and were brought in to be cared for. During this conversation a man, or shell of a man, approached. He was infested with parasitic unliving organisms and lurched forward to attack everyone. After a brief but grotesque battle, the creature/s were laid to rest and burned in holy fire. The two refugees, also infested with these creatures where cared for and rid of their malady, comfortably resting now with their lives intact.
