S26b 1142 GDC Nambra, the 11th day of Zummaer Report

General Summary

The battle with the ooze like creatures ended swiftly, leaving the party to explore further into the depths of the cavern. Subtle tremors could be felt causing bits of detritus to fall and the cavern to experience an abnormal rise in heat. After exploration, the party encountered the source of heat and constant pulse like energy as a portal of some sort, hovered near a nest of an assortment of eggs. A wayward energy surge spiked at the arrival of the group and hatchling insectoid/lizard like creatures along with a denizen from the portal and attacked. The diseased entity that emerged was a fiend and ravaged Tarian as the smaller creatures swarmed Moon. After a brief battle, all creatures were put down, leaving the pair to lick their wounds. Raven issued her familiar through the portal in an effort to explore its destination and lost his friend to the other side. An imp emerged and claimed that a soul was provided and thus releasing the creature, Its time cut short by the party. They emerged from the caverns and winery to the presence of Guard Captain Fajor who provided escort to the manor as well as an envoy to contact Breckman Zanz in an effort to close the portal below. Most of the party enjoyed the hospitality of the servants in the Sylhorn estate while Arlo and Raven perused the library in an effort to glean information that could assist them. They were exhausted, having spent the majority of the night in research as they returned to the rest of the party on the morning of Haciathra.
